New Product from M.R. Crafts Ensures Large Volume of Water is Easily Transported in Emergency Situations.

Silver Spring, MD – March 16, 2010 – CHF International (CHF) today announced details of a partnership with Florida-based M.R. Crafts, Inc, inventors of the award-winning Watersafe, an innovative product  that offers a portable method for transporting and distributing water to Haiti in the aftermath of the January 12 earthquake. 

M.R. Crafts donated several pallet loads of Watersafes and collapsible water bladders to CHF to help the victims of the earthquake.  They worked with their local community and bag manufacturer to raise funds to be able to donate over $18,000 worth of Watersafes and other water bladders to help the victims of the earthquake to have access to clean water. The water bladders come in different sizes and can expand to hold from 2.5 to  55 gallons of water.

Since 2006, CHF’s team has been undertaking the largest USAID-funded infrastructure rehabilitation and job creation program in Haiti, and had been focusing many of its efforts on repairing vital infrastructure damaged in the 2008 tropical storm season.  After the 7.0 magnitude earthquake, CHF has been focusing its efforts on recovery.
